Welcome to Gabbie's Garden
Who is Gabbie?
Gabriella Wehbe was the embodiment of mercy.
To many, she was the face of OLMC; she was involved in absolutely everything the school had to offer, and inspired others to be like her with her infectious passion and spirit.
Her influence transcended time – for many years following her attendance at the school, students fondly remembered Gabbie as a role model that led the way for what it meant to be a woman of mercy in the current era.
With this, the Gabriella Wehbe Excellence in Leadership Award was created. The Gabriella Wehbe award so particularly meaningful and impactful for one reason, Gabbie was one of us. She’s somebody we can aspire to be like, somebody we can relate to, somebody we would be absolutely honoured to be associated with in the form of an award.
Mercy is not exclusive, and people of mercy can be found in all walks of life.
Gabriella Wehbe dedicated her life to OLMC and living a life of mercy, just as many sisters of mercy have done before her. I hope that OLMC can continue to recognise the inclusivity and diversity of mercy and the many ways it can present itself to us.
